«I assume there's also no indication that he doesn't. I would like to know exactly how Senior Captain Thrawn made such a blunder as to put one of our sky-walkers in enemy hands.»
―The Plikh speaker during a session of the Syndicure[1]

A Chiss speaker represented the Chiss Ascendancy's Plikh family in the Chiss Syndicure, the ruling body of the Ascendancy.[1] In 19 BBY,[2] following the capture of Caregiver Mitth'ali'astov, core name "Thalias," and the sky-walker navigator Che'ri at the hands of the Nikardun General Yiv, the speaker was present at an emergency meeting of the Syndicure to discuss the plan to retrieve the two women. After Chiss Defense Hierarchy Council Supreme Admiral Ja'fosk stated that there was no indication that Yiv was aware of Che'ri's status as sky-walker, the Plikh speaker countered there was no indication that the Nikardun general wasn't aware, either. They followed up the argument by demanding to know how Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn," managed to get a sky-walker captured, as many of the Syndicure blamed the Senior Captain for the blunder.[1]

Behind the scenes

The speaker appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
