A OOM-series security droid was a member of a Separatist crew that operated on the planet Loradil during the New Republic Era after their Providence-class carrier was shot down.^[2] Around 6 ABY,^[1] the OOM-series security droid attempted to kill the human Jedi Luke Skywalker with their blaster, but was eliminated themselves by their own blaster bolts by the Jedi after a brief confrontation.^[2]
