A clan of Mandalorians was active during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. They were allied with the Empire and sought the Sword of the First—a lost dueling blade that belonged to the clan's founder. The clan hired treasure hunters to locate it, and they found it buried in the skull of a large beast skeleton that had eaten the clan's founder.[1]
