"Honor, right. How's that working out now?"
―Mandalorian mercenary mocking Jaing for leaving Ung Kusp due to the latter's lack of honor.[1]

This individual was a Mandalorian mercenary of a clan loyal to Ung Kusp.[1]

Many centuries before the Clone Wars,[2] the Mandalorian was among a group of mercenaries sent to an industrial wasteland in the Outer Rim to recover a Sith artifact stolen by an Outer rim doctor. After breaching the door of the doctor's facility, the group encountered Master Jaing,[1] a former Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders and enemy of Kusp,[3] along with his protegé, Durge, and Nubyl, all beneficiaries of the doctor's cybernetic enhancements, who inflicted heavy casualties on the Mandalorians, but were dispatched by the explosion of a thermal detonator. This Mandalorian recovered the artifact, and stood over an injured Jaing, mocking him for his dedication to honor and threatening to behead him, only to be caught by surprise and disemboweled on Jaing's horns.[1]

However, the Mandalorian's blaster discharged, dealing Jaing a mortal wound and motivating Durge to drive the group off and swear revenge against against the Mandalorians. In reality, the attack was orchestrated by the doctor in a plot to start a war between the Mandalorians and the Sith.[1]
