- "When I was a youngling, one of our older masters died whilst in the middle of meditation. Most of us felt him pass, and whilst we still miss him, it had helped to know he had gone peacefully and happily. I hope you feel the same way when you reach for Douglas."
- ―Vernestra Rwoh, to Imri Cantaros
An individual was a Jedi Master in the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era when the Mirialan Vernestra Rwoh was a Jedi youngling.[2] By 233 BBY,[1] he was considered by Rwoh to be one of the older Jedi Masters, and died while in the middle of meditating. The Jedi's passing was felt by the Mirialan and most of the Jedi she was with.[2]
In 232 BBY,[1] Rwoh mentioned the late Jedi Master when she comforted the Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros about the loss of his own Master, Douglas Sunvale. The Mirialan informed Cantaros that while she and the others still missed the Master, knowing he had passed in peace and happily had helped them. She then expressed her hope that the Padawan would feel the way she did when he reached out for his Master in the Force.[2]
