This officer was an Imperial naval officer who served as an instructor. They taught new shipmasters how to command a capital ship and engage in naval warfare, and came into conflict with Admiral Gial Ackbar, who was instructing Rebel officerss how to do the same thing for the Alliance to Restore the Republic at the time.^[1]
