A human individual served as an Imperial officer within the Galactic Empire during its war with the Alliance to Restore the Republic.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the officer worked aboard the bridge of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Revelator when it was visited by Director Sliro Barsha of the Imperial Security Bureau and met the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who he briefly spoke with over holographic communications before Vader revealed that the Empire had agreed to a deal offered by the criminal Jaylen Vrax, who was also the brother of Sliro. Following the conclusion of their meeting with Vader, the Imperial officer approached Vrax with the request for the promised coordinates to a rebel base, which he complied with, instructing the officer—who Jaylen addressed as a friend—to set the Revelator on a course for the planet Akiva. Shortly after arriving in the Akiva system, however, the Star Destroyer was destroyed thanks to the combined efforts of local insurgent forces and a crime syndicate.[1]
