Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A governor of the Galactic Empire was stationed on the planet Pesmenben IV.^[1] By 0 BBY,^[2] the Human businessman Lando Calrissian conned the governor into leasing the planet by salting its dunes with lithium carbonate; posing as a non-union mine guard, he made the governor lie facedown in the bottom of a boat so that when the "union officials" raided them, the governor threw the bribe overboard. Calrissian got away with the scam without punishment.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Imperial governor was first mentioned in James Kahn's 1983 novelization of the original trilogy film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.^[1]
