Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

An exploration probe vessel dispatched by the Sith Empire to the Unknown Regions returned during the Cold War with the Galactic Republic, and was covered in a purple slime. The substance was identified as the secretions of a mynock-like spaceborne creature.[1]
