The officer moments before his death.

After the rogue Jedi Knight Kento Marek was located by Emperor Palpatine's spies on Kashyyyk, the Galactic Empire launched an assault on the planet. The commander, who had been placed in charge of the Imperial forces fighting the Wookiee rebels,[2] greeted the Supreme Commander,[3] Darth Vader, upon arrival. Uninterested in the commander's excuses and lack of progress, the Dark Lord cut the man off by Force-choking him. Still, the Sith Lord's singular focus on the Jedi rabble-rouser ultimately made him spare the officer's life. After Vader killed Kento Marek in his home, he discovered the latter's son, Galen. At that moment, the commander and several stormtroopers arrived and, expecting the Supreme Commander's approval, trained their blasters in the boy. Vader, however, had his own plans for Galen and protected him from his own troops' blaster fire. The Dark Lord of the Sith then killed the stormtroopers and the commander by reflecting the blaster shots with his lightsaber, simultaneously cutting any loose ends.[2]

Behind the scenes

The Imperial Commander in the PS2, Wii, and PSP versions of The Force Unleashed is a Stormtrooper Commander. He was strangled by Vader after landing on Kashyyyk. In those versions, unlike in the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, the commander's fate was left ambiguous as the scene immediately cut to behind the Dark Lord when he released his grip.

All Imperial officers in-game use this officer's character model.
