During the early stages of the Galactic Civil War (2 BBY-0 BBY), an Imperial-class Star Destroyer was deployed to Spaceport THX1138 after it was discovered that a Rebel agent was attempting to board a StarSpeeder 1000, with several Imperials being deployed to arrest the agent. It ended up severely damaged by smuggler Han Solo while the latter was aiding the flight in escaping during a run-in of his own with the Imperials.
