Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

The droid was one of the supposedly rogue droids that attacked Constable Zuvio during his investigation of a banking ship robbery in Niima Outpost. As a part of Rikard Lovas's plot to steal the electronic credits of the citizens of Niima Outpost on Jakku, several droids were sent to an abandoned farmhouse to wait for Constable Zuvio. The cam droid recorded and projected the initial approach of Zuvio to the other droids. During the skirmish at the abandoned Jakku moisture farm the cam droid made several attempts to slam into Zuvio but was ultimately destroyed when an EG-6 gonk droid caused the farmhouse to explode.[1]
