- "These are the last. Finish them and our Master's will is accomplished."
- ―Darth Nihl to the Gotal Sith and several of their allies
A Gotal Sith was a member of the Sith Lord Darth Krayt's Sith Order.[1] Around 130 ABY,[2] Krayt ordered his Hand Darth Nihl to lead a group of Sith in an attack on the Jedi Temple on[1] the planet[3] Ossus and leave no Jedi alive. During the attack, the Gotal, Nihl, and more of their comrades confronted the Jedi Masters Kol Skywalker and Wolf Sazen. The two Masters killed many Sith, but the Gotal and several others fought on as Cade Skywalker, Kol's son, rushed into the fray to aid his father. After Cade fled with an injured Sazen, Nihl killed Kol with Force lightning,[1] and the Jedi Order became scattered and broken.[4]
The Gotal had brown hair, yellow eyes, and red–and–black tattooed skin. During the attack on the Ossus Jedi Temple, they wielded a red lightsaber and donned a pair of gray metal gauntlets covering the lower half of their arms.[1]

The Gotal Sith first appeared in the first issue of the Star Wars: Legacy comic-book series. The issue was written by John Ostrander, illustrated by Jan Duursema, and published by Dark Horse Comics[1] on June 21, 2006.[5]
