Although this article is based on official information from the Star Wars Legends continuity, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A species of furry anthropoids was native to Garqi,[1] an agriworld in the Cassander sector.[2] In 25 ABY,[3] when the Jedi Knight Corran Horn led a team of his fellow Jedi to Garqi to investigate the Yuuzhan Vong presence on the planet, several of these anthropoids were frightened by his starship as it traversed a purple forest. The creatures scurried away from its approach.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Garqian anthropoids appeared in the 2000 novel The New Jedi Order: Dark Tide II: Ruin, which was written by Michael A. Stackpole.[1]
