A stormtrooper served as a sergeant in the First Order's Stormtrooper Corps during the Assault of Naboo in 34 ABY. Upon receiving orders from the officer in charge, they were killed by a headshot.

The stormtrooper served as a sergeant in the Stormtrooper Corps of the First Order.[3] In 34 ABY,[1] they were deployed as part of the ground forces for the First Order assault on the planet Naboo. They requested orders from an officer and were instructed to terminate any local resistance to the occupation, locate local leadership, and ensure their cooperation. The sergeant remarked that the orders were the standard playbook and went on to relay the orders to their squad of stormtroopers.[3]

As the sergeant communicated to their troopers, they were interrupted by a blaster shot to their head, killing them. The shot came from a local resistance fighter, who, unbeknownst to the First Order, was Supreme Leader of the First Order Kylo Ren in disguise. In anger, the officer ordered the remaining troopers to kill the man. The First Order forces failed to survive Ren's assault, though.[3]

Behind the scenes

The sergeant first appeared in the fifth issue of the 2025 comic series Star Wars: Legacy of Vader. The issue was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Stefano Raffaele, and published by Marvel Comics[3] on June 25, 2025.[4]
