- "Surviving information from the Naboo Planetary Tourist Bureau highlight the fact that Dee'ja Peak had a notable theatre and was a major center for the arts at the time of Palpatine's youth."
- ―Beaumont Kin, The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
A notable theatre was located in[1] the farming community[2] Dee'ja Peak on the Mid Rim planet Naboo. The area was a major center for the arts during the youth of the human Sheev Palpatine, who was born[1] in 84 BBY,[3] and this information was recorded in a file on the community created by the Naboo Planetary Tourist Bureau which was then stored in the Naboo Planetary Archives.[1] In 35 ABY,[4] the historian Beaumont Kin cited the file and mentioned the theatre in[1] his[5] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, suggesting that given Palpatine's known love of opera and ballet it is possible he spent time in Dee'ja Peak during his formative years.[1]
Behind the scenes
The theatre was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire, which was written by Dr. Chris Kempshall.[1]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
