- "Next time you're near the Bestine Compound I want you to make contact with one of our operatives. They'll be disguised as an Imperial Stromtrooper."
"How will I know its them?"
"Use the phrase "I have a delivery for Pashvi." A regular trooper won't know what you're talking about. Our operative will hand you a package." - ―Crimson Dawn agent to Crimson Dawn thug
An individual was a mole for the Crimson Dawn syndicate.[1] In 3 ABY[2] the mole disguised themselves as an Imperial stormtrooper and stationed in Bestine, a city in the Desert Valley region of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine. During this time, they collected data from the Hutt Clan's investigation into the Syndicate War. They were later instructed to give the data to an unknown individual using the code phrase: "I have a delivery for Pashvi."[1]
- "I have a delivery for Pashvi"
"The Crimson Dawn never sets."
"Good work. I'll take it from here." - ―Kay Vess to mole
During the same year,[2] while in the Sandstone Quarter of Mos Eisley on Tatooine, the scoundrel Kay Vess overheard two members of Crimson Dawn discussing the mole and the code phrase to use to obtain the data. Vess later spoke to the mole in Bestine who gave her the syndicate data.[1]
Behind the scenes
The mole appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The mole is part of the "Crimson Dawn mole" optional intel quest. The reward for completing the quest is a syndicate data item which the player can give to one of the factions in game to increase they reputation with that faction.[1]
