A cell of the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate was active during the reign of the Galactic Empire. The cell was based at a Crimson Dawn Regional Outpost in the Outer Rim Territories.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who was attempting to wipe out the criminal syndicate, arrived at the outpost to take command of the cell. After Vader's take over the cell was laid out by fellow Crimson Dawn member Sabé, several members of the cell felt they had been betrayed and attempted to kill Vader, but were unsuccessful. As the leader spoke their last words, the remaining members of the cell swore their allegiance to Vader. The Sith Lord later had the forces of the cell wiped out in a skirmish with the Empire on Oro Sankeria.[1]
