A Chiss speaker represented the Chiss Ascendancy's Clarr family in the Chiss Syndicure, the ruling body of the Ascendancy,[1] in 19 BBY.[2] Following an attack on the Chiss capital planet of Csilla, the speaker met with represenatives of the other Nine Ruling Families and Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet Supreme General Ba'kif. The Clarr asked if other locations in the Ascendancy had been attacked or spotted enemy ships, which Ba'kif denied.[1]

The speaker appeared in the 2020 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.[1]
