A B1 battle droid was stationed on the Separatist Subjugator-class heavy cruiser the Malevolence, and served under the command of General Grievous.[2]

History

In 22 BBY,[1] after the Malevolence suffered a defeat at the Battle of the Kaliida Nebula, the Separatist forces captured Naboo senator Padmé Amidala and brought her aboard the ship in order to force the Galactic Republic ships to stop their attack. This droid and a fellow one then escorted General Grievous to the senator's starship, which exploded after it was rigged. The two droids were destroyed in the explosion, but Grievous escaped in time.[2]
