A city located on[2] the Core Worlds[3] planet Alderaan was home to an academy. The Alderaanian Rel was a resident of the city while living at the academy as a student for three years. During his third year at the academy, Rel ran into his childhood friend Max while traveling home for the Winter's Heart holiday. He was surprised to learn that Max was living in the city as well while training to join the Imperial Army.[2] The city had been destroyed by 1 BBY,[1] when the rest of Alderaan was also destroyed by the Galactic Empire's Death Star battle station.[4]

Behind the scenes

The city was mentioned in "The Song of Winter's Heart," a short story written by Cavan Scott and George Mann in the 2021 Life Day Treasury anthology.[2]
