The Ultima II was an Imperial-class Star Destroyer of the Galactic Empire that served under the command of Admiral Kalaxo. The Ultima II was involved in a battle against the Alliance to Restore the Republic during which it was destroyed.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Ultima II was first mentioned in a preview for the fifteenth issue of Marvel Comics' 2020 Star Wars series. The preview was released on July 21, 2021 on StarWars.com.[3] The Star Destroyer then appeared in the comic itself, which was written by Charles Soule, illustrated by Ramon Rosanas,[1] and released on July 28 of the same year.[4]

An Imperial I-class Star Destroyer named Ultima existed within the Star Wars Legends continuity.[5] It first appeared in Graveyard of Alderaan, a 1991 adventure supplement written by Bill Slavicsek for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game from West End Games.[6]
