Ubasameir were a sentient species with an inborn tenderness for younglings.[1] During the Galactic Civil War,[2] some Ubasameir worked in the Sub-Adult Center on the Bazaar Deck of the Kuari Princess,[1] a giant luxury liner.[3] Parents were able to drop off their younglings to the center for the Ubasameir and droids to provide educational and recreational care. They were present on the cruise ship when it was attacked by pirates when passing through the Maelstrom nebula.[1]

Ubasameir first appeared in Riders of the Maelstrom, a 1989 roleplaying game book written by Ray Winninger and published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
