A Twi'lek militia safehouse was established in an underground district of Nabat, a small city located on the Outer Rim world of Ryloth. The safehouse was founded during the reign of the Galactic Empire by a group of Twi'lek militants, who sought to protect their people from harassment and exploitation at the hands of offworld criminals.

The Twi'lek militia's Nabat safehouse was first introduced to the Star Wars universe in the 2012 roleplaying adventure, The Long Arm of the Hutt, published by Fantasy Flight Games.
