Kéral Longknife, Demarch of the Twelve Tribes of T'Syriél.
The Twelve Tribes of T'Syriél was the tribal coalition of the native T'Syriél species of the planet Shiva IV during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Inheritors of a proud warrior tradition, the tribes warred for generations with the human Calian Confederacy, until Demarch Kéral Longknife signed the Concordat of Peace with Calian Warlord Aron Peacebringer in 2 ABY and pledged to unify with each other. The tribes' martial strength waned in the months after the cessation of hostilities, and Longknife lamented his people's loss of fighting spirit. Some T'Syriél were outcast from tribal society afterward, retreating to lives of banditry in the wastes.[1]
