Trichobezoar

Trichobezoars were objects which could be found in members of the Toydarian species gizzards. Toydarians were able to vomit up Trichobezoars and compared speaking to a psychiatrist to throwing the objects up.[1]

Behind the scenes

Trichobezoars were first mentioned in the novel MedStar I: Battle Surgeons written by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry and released in 2004.
