Trench, designated Gamma-383, was a clone trooper of the Grand Army of the Republic.[2] Born on the planet Kamino, Gamma-383 was created to serve the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Made from the genetic template of bounty hunter Jango Fett, Gamma-383 was a male clone who stood at 1.83 meters tall and had tan skin.[1] During the war, he was assigned to follow the orders of a commanding officer in preparation for life as a member of a commando squad. His nickname Trench came from his habit of hunkering down and holding threatened positions for long periods of time. Trench wore clone trooper armor, and carried a blaster rifle, a blaster pistol, and two fragmentation grenades.[2]
Behind the scenes
Trench was mentioned in the The Clone Wars Campaign Guide, a supplement to the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition published in 2009. Trench is provided as a sample character to act as an ally, called a follower, for players.[2]
