Treachery! was the third installment of The Kingdom of Ice, published in Pizzazz 12 in September 1978. The entire story arc was reprinted in the UK in Star Wars Weekly 57–60 in 1979.

Plot summary

C-3PO and R2-D2 are abducted by the snow demons and brought to a snow-covered Rebel base. There they discover the real Colonel Odan, who reveals that Imperial Stormtroopers captured the Rebel War Sled, and are now impersonating the Rebels as part of an elaborate plot to trap Princess Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker.

Meanwhile, aboard the War Sled, the imposter Odan begins plying Leia and Luke for information about the plans of the Rebel Alliance.

The New Essential Chronology dates the Battle of Yavin and Evacuation of Yavin to 0 ABY and 0.5 ABY respectively.
