Transplas,[1] also known as transplast,[2] was a strong, clear material. It was used in the construction of transpheres, which were used by attendees of the Unification Gala for zero-gee dancing. The material was strong enough to protect the occupants inside if the sphere ever fell out of the air.[1] The Air-2 racing swoop manufactured by Tagge Company could be purchased with an optional transplas windscreen.[2]
