Transit chips were chips that could be used to bypass Imperial blockades. Amaiza Foxtrain stole a cache transit chips from the Empire, with the Empire dispatching stormtroopers to retrieve the chips. The Alliance to Restore the Republic hired the Lepi smuggler Jaxxon T. Tumperakki to steal the transit chips for the Rebellion. But when Tumperakki attempted to steal the chips, he was stopped by Foxtrain before the Empire arrived causing a firefight. Tumperakki used his hundered of Lepi cousins to create a distraction in order to escape and successfully bring the devices to the Alliance.[1]
