- "We anticipate that when the Yuuzhan Vong commander at Mon Calamari learns that Coruscant is under siege, he will attempt to jump some of his battle groups back to the Core, by way of Toong'l and Caluula, trusting the yammosks installed on those worlds to coordinate withdrawal and protect against the possibility of ambush."
- ―Traest Kre'fey
Toong'l,[6] also known as Toong'L,[3] was a planet located within the Toong'l system of the Outer Rim Territories and the homeworld of the Toong species.
History
- "Lastly, Toong'l Security Systems was destroyed when its planet was struck by a comet."
- ―Kosta, to Obi-Wan Kenobi
The planet was hit by two comets in 45 BBY, and many of the survivors relocated to Tund and other planets. Others chose to rebuild on their homeworld under King Kikipi.
The planet was the headquarters of Toong'l Security Systems.
During the Yuuzhan Vong War, the Yuuzhan Vong established a yammosk outpost on the planet, in preparation for the Defense of Mon Calamari.[4]
