Ton was a senator within the Imperial Senate of the Galactic Empire during its reign.[1] In 2 BBY,[2] she discovered a listening device inside her office, a fact that her fellow Senator Bail Organa became aware of. Organa later informed his colleague Mon Mothma about the device while discussing her plans to practice an anti-Imperial speech, prompting Mothma to have her own office searched. This led to the discovery of a listening device planted there by the Imperial Security Bureau, who were monitoring several senators.[1]

Ton was mentioned in "Welcome to the Rebellion," the ninth episode in the second season of the live-action Disney+ series Andor,[1] which aired on May 6, 2025.[3]
