In 19 BBY, towards the end of Operation: Knightfall, the Sith Lord Darth Vader's march upon the planet of Coruscant's Jedi Temple, the Jedi within the Temple had been nearly exterminated. At this point, three Jedi Masters took command of the remaining Jedi and Temple Security Force personnel. The trio of Jedi lead them through one last rally against the Galactic Republic's army, but it proved unsuccessful and all three were then killed by Vader's force.[1]

Behind the scenes

The three Jedi Masters are killed by the player in Star Wars: Battlefront II, but the means of their execution is not standardized. They can be killed either as Vader or a clone trooper at the whim of the player.[1]
