Thousand Thousand was the capital city of Makem Te.

Thousand Thousand was Makem Te's most powerful city, with over two million Swokes Swokes inhabiting it. Most of the city's buildings were made from iron, allowing the city some protection against the frequent wars that took place.

Twelve caliphs resided in Thousand Thousand, and often accepted gifts from outsiders in exchange for employment.

South of the city was a mining district that contained Mining Machine No. 9.
