Thomas Spanos as Imperial Knight Ganner Krieg.
Thomas J. Spanos (SL 1876) is the Legion Membership Officer of the real-world 501st Legion costuming organization. His likeness, as drawn by Star Wars artist and author Jan Duursema, appears in many issues of the Star Wars: Legacy comics, particularly Legacy (2006) 6 as Imperial Knight Ganner Krieg.[1][2]
In Star Wars: Legacy, Jan Duursema's depiction of Darth Bane was in fact based on a partially completed costume of Spanos'.[2][3]
Joe Corroney has based several of his drawings on Spanos' costumes. An image of Palpatine's clone in the Star Wars Insider 83 article, 20 Most Memorable Moments of the Expanded Universe, is based on Spanos' work.[4] Spanos' costume of Xizor was also referenced by Corroney in the Star Wars Insider 89 article "Underworld: A Galaxy of Scum and Villainy."[5]
