Thichis Kuras was a Moff in the Galactic Empire.
A native of Kuat and a member of one of the planet's lesser noble families, Thichis Kuras was appointed a Moff by Emperor Palpatine as the Empire required an individual who could balance the various needs of the Imperial Military, the independent-minded Kuati nobility, and the increased industrial starship production and ordnance research.[1]
As anti-Imperial activity increased during his reign, Moff Kuras began to crack down hard on violators. He created and enforced new military protocols, enlarged the security force, and supported the anti-insurgency work of the Imperial Security Bureau and COMPNOR.[1]
