Thersin Dol was once a simple hunter of Frostwall Village, but greed and cruelty marked his path. Promised a bounty by an offworld smuggler who trafficked in exotic beasts, he entered the Caves of Light and Shadow. There, he wounded a mother Icewolf and stole her cubs, showing no pity as he left her bleeding and broken. His contempt seeped into the very stones, and from his act of spite the caves became tainted, their crystals darkened by the echo of his cruelty. When the dark side's corruption spread across the valley, Dol vanished into the wilderness and never returned to his people.[1]
