Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A mining field was located on the terrestrial astronomical object Thearterra, in the Unknown Regions.[2] In 19 BBY,[1] it had been newly opened.[2] In that year,[1] the Chiss Ascendancy's ruling Mitth and Ufsa families both sought control over the field.[2]

Behind the scenes

The mining field was first mentioned in an excerpt for Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising, the first installment of the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy trilogy, released on July 8, 2021.[3] The novel itself was released on September 1 of that year.[4]
