"The Walkabout" was a rite of passage undertaken by the male members of a tribe native to a swamp planet that consisted in living alone in a swamp on the planet for some time. Once the rite was completed, the member of the tribe could go back to the village and be considered a man.[1]

"The Walkout" appeared in the comic story "An Unlikely Friendship," published in the fifteenth issue of the comic book series Star Wars Adventures[1] on October 31, 2018.[2] The comic story was authored by James Gilarte and illustrated by Alain Mauricet.[1]
