The Pinnacle was a location controlled by the Galactic Republic during the High Republic Era.[2] In 231 BBY,[3] while temporarily imprisoned aboard the Republic space station Starlight Beacon, the Nihil Storm Tasia spoke to Lourna Dee—her Tempest Runner who was also imprisoned aboard the station—and voiced her wonder where they both might be sent as part of their sentences. Tasia then suggested the Pinnacle as a potential option. Ultimately, the two were assigned to the Republic prison ship Restitution.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Pinnacle was mentioned in The High Republic: Tempest Runner, a 2021 audio drama written by Cavan Scott and published as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4] The spelling of the location's name was later confirmed with the release of the audio drama's script in 2022.[2]
