- "The Freeman, gone but not forgotten. Thank you for all your works of wonder. You will be missed."
- ―The Freeman Memorial
The Freeman Memorial was a memorial set up inside the Adventurers' Guildhall at the Township of Aurilia on Dathomir. It consisted of a Yanjon statue which commemorated someone who went by the alias, Freeman.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Freeman Memorial appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] The Freeman Memorial was added to the game with the release of the Chapter 11 on November 20, 2008.[3] It honored the former lead gameplay designer Jeff Freeman who tragically took his life in 2008 at the age of 39.[4]
