The First Organa

The First Organa was an individual commemorated by the monument at the front of the House Organa estate on the Core World Alderaan, below the Organa Palace. Smaller statues of "The First Organa" were erected across the estate. The House of Organa was among the founding families and Great Houses of Alderaan,^[1] of which House Alde's Darrus Alde led after negotiating peace between the nobles and being elected as the first King of Alderaan by the newly formed Alderaanian Parliament.^[2] An Organa drafted the Galactic Constitution as part of the founding of the Galactic Republic, and a representative of Alderaan was among the Core Founders who were later commemorated as monuments along the Avenue of the Core Founders in the Senate Plaza of the Republic's capital planet, the Core World Coruscant.^[1]

Behind the scenes

"The First Organa" monument appeared in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. It was later identified in the 2012 reference title Star Wars: The Old Republic Encyclopedia.^[1]
