"The Essential Guide to Star Wars Aliens" was a fold-out poster article in Star Wars Galaxy Magazine 3. It included illustrations and descriptions of several alien species and characters prominent in the Star Wars universe. Illustrations were provided by artists Mike Zeck, William Stout, Jason Palmer, George Peréz, Karl Kesel, Basil Gogos, Dave Gibbons, and Whilce Portacio.
