"The Droid Rooms" was a musical track played in the background of the original Star Tours ride queue, and was split into two distinct segments. The first segment was played when repair droid G2-9T usually told guests it is one of his favorite hit songs: "I Wanna Weld Your Hand" by Danny and the Droids.
"The Droid Rooms" was released on The Music of Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Epcot Center (1988)[2], The Official Album of Disneyland and Walt Disney World (1991)[1] and Tokyo Disneyland Music Album (2001).[3] It was written by Richard Bellis and is three minutes and thirty-nine seconds in length.[1]
