The Count of Mon Calamari

The Count of Mon Calamari was a famous book, being considered a classic of galactic literature. It told the story of a Mon Calamari sailor who was wrongly detained by the Quarren in an island and who escapes it by swimming away. The sailor then plots revenge against the Quarren.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The story is a reference to the novel The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas (père). The novel tell the story of a young French sailor, who is betrayed by jealous false friends and wrongly imprisoned on an island fortress. He manages to escape and dedicates himself to revenge, taking on the persona of the mysterious Count of Monte Cristo.
