Tetans were the inhabitants of the Empress Teta system. Most of them were accustomed to the finer luxuries life had to offer, and strived to better their station in life through promotion or marriage. Out of desperation, less fortunate Tetans sometimes turned to blackmail, or made deals with one of the many criminal organizations in an effort to get ahead. Many Tetans took the Qel-Droma Epics as literal history of their system, spurring fruitless archaeological expeditions.[1]
