Good idea, SparqMan, this seems to work well. Might be nice if we can add a little image in there too. And I think we need a separate similar template that deals with the Disambiguation pages. --Azizlight 08:27, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I thought about an image, but I think we want this template to draw as little attention as possible. It may also be confused with a stub. What type of template do the Disambiguation pages require beyond the existing notice? --SparqMan 16:18, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
- I meant a different template that links to a disambig page. The difference between the two is:
- This page is about the Force. You may be looking for the Schwartz.
- This page is about the Clone Wars cartoon. For more uses for Clone Wars, see Clone Wars (disambiguation).
- I meant a different template that links to a disambig page. The difference between the two is:
The latter is not possible in the current {{youmay}} template. --Azizlight 21:23, 29 Nov 2005 (UTC)
I tested it tonight on a few articles, and I think it may be too distracting. Any ideas of less distracting iterations? --SparqMan 02:32, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
New ideas
I'm not particularly satisfied with the design of this template. Any other ideas? --SparqMan 21:17, 30 Dec 2005 (UTC)
Spacing issue between sentences on mobile
It appears when this template is viewed on mobile it:
- Does not add a space in between the two sentences
- Does not appear to respect the value of `1` for the `linebreak` variable
I think one easy fix would be to add a space after the first sentence in the template. Given how many pages use this template (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Youmay?limit=500) you would need to be sure it didn't affect other use cases. --Mynameishank 14:30, 25 Apr 2022 (UTC)
