Description

A small message box, generally used as a notice inside the {{Information}} template on a file page.

Usage

Required parameters

  • |image= The image to include on the left-hand side of the box, such as [[File:Information icon.svg|40px]].
  • |message= The written message on the right-hand side of the box.

Optional parameters

  • |id= The HTML id attribute of the box, which defaults to the template name in lowercase.
  • |border1= The outer border color, default #AAA.
  • |border2= The inner border color, default #CCC.
  • |bg1= The outer background color, default #EEF in light mode.
  • |bg2= The inner background color, default #FFF in light mode.
  • |messagestyle= Any additional CSS styling for the message text, such as text-align:center.
