{{FFGXW2|set=SET NAME|cardname=CARD NAME}}
CardMiniDB is a Lua module and a series of connected datasets that aim to optimize and comprehensively manage the listings of packs and cards from various Star Wars miniatures games.
- For each supported template, Module:CardMiniDB/<Template Name> contains a master list of all cardnames, grouped by the set in which they were originally printed, with their URL, formatting, and any sets that reprint them. Thus, any card names that are not recognized will be bolded and added to a maintenance category, and any cards listed in a set in which they were not originally printed will be also similarly flagged. If you are citing a specific reprint of the card, use the
bypass=1parameter to suppress this logic. - Additional cards must be added to this subpage in the same format. The link should be populated in this dataset unless no valid URL can be located; additionally, each template has a base URL that it defaults to, such as Rebelscum or a Fandom wiki for that game. As a result, links to that site can be listed simply with the URL path, forgoing the http://domain.com/. As the link is maintained in the dataset and automatically used when the matching cardname is given, it is not needed when the template is used on articles.
- For new sets, they must be added to both the template-specific subpage, and also to the "sets" array in the template's entry in Module:CardMiniDB/shared, along with a formatted pipelink in the "stexts" array if necessary.
- All templates support both the
ship=andsubtitle=parameters; these values must be added to each individual card's data map, and thus are not needed to be manually used in the templates themselves. However, when a cardname is used multiple times within a specific set and they have ship values, the ship parameter is required in the template, and the cardname's key in the dataset is "<card>:<ship>" to prevent collision. - Consult Cade Calrayn and the Wookieepedia Discord for further questions.
Maintenance categories:
- Category:Invalid set parameter values in game citation templates — tracks invalid set names
- Category:Incorrect cardname-set pairings in game citation templates — tracks usages of a cardname value with the incorrect set. If you are citing the specific reprinted version of a card, then add
|bypass=1to your template. - Category:Incorrect cardnames in game citation templates — tracks usages of a cardname value that doesn't match the actual official cardname; in most cases this is either missing quotation marks, or the subtitle is included in the cardname field instead of the subtitle or ship parameters.
- Category:Invalid reprint parameters in game citation templates — tracks usages of the reprint parameter for a cardname that was not reprinted in other sets.
- Category:Citation template usages without cardname — tracks usages without the cardname parameter; this is primarily legacy Legends articles.
