A Taung blood duel was an ancient Mandalorian tradition that originated with the Taung species, and saw two combatants duel to the death to resolve matters of honor.

When in need of settling a matter of honor, the legendary Great Hunt champion Hedarr Soongh, made the young hunter and the dishonorable Mandalorian Sedyn Kyne face each other in this duel.
